Hi! My name is Cathy Price and I am a freshman
at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.
(Do you actually know where Cullowhee is? It's the
eighth wonder of the world.) I'm originally from
Mount Holly, NC, just outside of Charlotte and I'm 18
years old.

People who really know me should say that I'm
a very complex individual. There's many
aspects that make up "me", and the purpose
of this page is to introduce you, my friends,
to most of it.

Well, let's see...I love stuffed animals, especially penguins.
I also like Garfield, Marvin the Martian, Tigger, and Elmo.
I am a band nerd...I live to be in the WCU marching band. It
is so much fun. I consider acadamics a high priority and
I take pride in good grades. I like to go camping, hiking,
rockclimbing, and backpacking. I've never been whitewater
rafting, but I want to go sometime. Basically, I like
anything that involves the outdoors. I like to paint, sing,
draw, dance, watch Broadway musicals, jazz, and many other
types of music. I especially love Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett.
I am especially in love with Les Miserables. I saw it in New York City,
six rows back, orchestra seating! It was so awesome. Can
you tell I'm in love with New York City? I'm also as
southern as they come...I like Grandma's homecooking (I
used to get it every Sunday before college after church),
fishing, NASCAR, and a lot of other southern stuff. I've
even got the accent to prove it. When I get out of college,
I want to work at the CDC in Atlanta. I going to be an
epidemiologist (a scientist who studies the cause, prevention,
and possible cure for infectious disease) and specialize n
AIDS research. I also like to study genetics.
